Our Project Mackenzie Heights

Built on a uniquely positioned lot in Mackenzie heights this house seeks to maximize views while maintaining privacy and intimate spaces for the homeowners.  The east side of the house is stepped back increasing the view corridors and creating architectural angles which are masterfully integrated throughout the home.  The house features a freestanding architectural concrete wall with stairs supported by custom wood slat railing running interrupted from the basement to the roof.      

The house was designed to challenge conventional water management practices of in Vancouver by completely removing the home dependency on the City’s storm system.  To learn more about water management in Vancouver please read our blog here.
